Online Driver's License Renewal (LA)

Trying to avoid going to DMV but license is expiring Saturday. I've never done online. Does anyone have any idea how long it takes for the renewal sticker to come in the mail after renewing online? Do you get any sort of temporary email/receipt you can use until it comes in?

Express DMV. $50. Takes 30 minutes and you get it right there

you get an email that you keep on yourself until the sticker comes in

You can print your receipt to carry with you until the license comes in. Only took a few days to get mine in the mail.

They sent me a whole new license, I did it recently

And no seating. One time they called the fire marshal on themselves to get more chairs since so many ppl were sitting on the floor.

The confirmation email is valid use until the new license comes in the mail. It takes about a week to come in.

Go to the Hammond DMV. Heard they are quick

Don't do it!! I did it and they never sent me a new license. When I went to the dmv they charged me again even though they cashed the check I sent in the mail. I tried to fight it but they would not listen to me. It freaking sucked.

I did online renewal and had a brand new license mailed to me, had it in a few days. And the few dollar fee was more than worth the convenience.
