Monday 28 August was Kingwood’s day to get flooded by that mother fricking storm. 4’ in my house. Kinda changed the course of events for my life and coincidentally I close on my new home in Monroe on the same day next Tuesday. Hope it’s not an omen.

Car wash reopened about a month ago, the drug store next door that blew to pieces on live video hasn't been rebuilt. We have rebuilt and I'm sitting in our new place over looking St Charles Bay hoping I never have to go through another major hurricane. Lots of one year anniversary parties and events in Rockport tomorrow.
