she should have drank in HS, then she would have gotten it out of her system
exactly what I did
My cumulative drinking since turning 21 is still a very small % of what I drank before then and I am 56.
no particular crusade to do it on purpose, just not interested other than nursing a beer when my group goes to a bar

This morning's decision? She probably drove home drunk over that bridge at least once per week for over a year.
We don't have any factual knowledge of any time other than the times she has been caught since June. Something has occurred in her life over the last year or so and she obviously did not get the help she needed. It is a damn shame that an innocent man lost his life this morning because of it. That man was someone's son, probably husband, probably father, etc.
So yes, this morning's decision is the one that effectively ruined her life and many others in the process.

Drunk drivers, especially repeat DUI offenders, deserve a special place in hell . I don't know what the percentage is of fatal automobile accidents that involve a drunk driver, but I bet it's significant .
Found it.

I know her and her fiancee. It's a shame this happened but it's been a long time coming. They both are in the drug scene, Molly, cocaine etc etc. Not surprised.

I'm far from the present day drug scene. What is Molly?

Mdma. Upper drug. Most people that think they are doing molly really aren't doing "molly".

First, what are the chances she gets convicted of vehicular homicide??
Second, what is the minimum charge if convicted?

In the state of Louisiana, vehicular homicide is defined as the killing of a human being while operating a motor vehicle, or other means of conveyance, under the influence of alcohol and/or controlled substances. The minimum punishment is a fine of at least $2,000 (not more than $15,000) and 5–30 years in prison.
she better have a good lawyer
although it would not be a good look if the DA allowed a plea on a 3rd offense DWI

Some just don't care.... she is a useless human being that will never amount to anything....

Is this happened in nola it could get plead down. I honestly can't see this happening in a competent court system like Jefferson.
