Well, no body cams. It’s what the defense said in court. But that isn’t unheard of if a cop is trying to shut off a vehicle forcefully.

Ok, not being a dick, but I think you and tunica were reporting the “cop punched him” as more fact than just the defense saying it in court

The other officer on the scene never said he punched Cummings and the video surveillance never corroborated him punching Cummings

Just don’t think the takeaway should be “the officer could have handled this better” to avoid all of this

We don’t know the officer did anything at all wrong

We know the guy in jail did multiple things wrong

NM read gun was found in Brandon’s trunk and he had blood on his clothes. If the gun matches and the blood matches, I’d say he is in very very deep doo doo.
