perhaps in the moral rankings of some they don't put casual sex and abortion as close to each other as you
if you want to get biblical about it, all sins have equal value

We had a transfer from West Point and one from Yale. The WP guy decided it wasn't for him. The Yalie had been kicked out and told never to return

You consider random sex and an abortion similar?
Call me crazy but yes...if you have casual unprotected sex then you sure as hell better be ready to deal with the consequences.
ETA: Its not just about morals here...its about your life and life of the baby. This guy has huge douche written all over his social media. Nothing wrong with having sex with a douche if you want to, but why have a kid with one?

“Be ready to deal with the consequences” and “abortion” seem to be on the opposite ends of the spectrum.

Well said, but I read somewhere else that she had told her parents. They were all working through things. She was trying to finish up and graduate earlier by taking summer classes.
I hope that is the case. If so, at least she knew she had some support back home while the guy was being a douchebag—not to mention a cold-blooded murderer.

Maybe she didn't want to kill a baby because she fricked up and got pregnant by the wrong guy

How old are you? Because if you are under 40 they shouldn't be. I knew some college chicks in the early 2000s that had multiple abortions. Not to mention the day after pill, I knew a chick that had taken the day after pill 10 times or more she lost count. I don't know if those were abortions or not. But girls have been dealing with casual sex very casually for many years.

defense attorney is probably logged on here making a list of potential jurors to DQ, and prosecutor doing same except probably going, yep, yep, yep....

How old are you? How is it so wrong to say don't have casual unprotected sex if you aren't ready to deal with day after pills, abortions, or keeping the kid by yourself? That's freaking life 101.
In 2019, I don't have a damn issue with a college man not wanting a summer sex fling to keep a kid. Women sure as hell make that decision all the time.

Conflating abortion with “taking responsibility” is still a pretty interesting approach to the subject.
Most people would consider taking care of the baby to be “taking responsibility”.
Whether she aborted the kid or not is her business but don’t fricking act like it is her fault she got murdered for not wanting an abortion.

He can not want to but he can't compel her to abort. It's her choice.

My wife works in women's health and abortion is pretty normal for a lot of women. If a woman mentions it, it gets labeled as abortion but miscarriages are also labeled as abortions too. So if there are any Mc Judgey Judges pro-life types, there isn't a red flag.
I imagine at some point there were medical professional who talked to the victim and will be able to provide a better picture.
I hate to say it, but my first thought was that either the victim or the alleged murderer wanted an abortion and she was past 12 weeks, which would make an abortion far more expensive and complicated.
An unexpected pregnancy is one thing that people have no idea how they will react to it until it happens.

Where did I say it was her fault? I said it over and over she didn't deserve anything to happen to her.
I said her texts read like she was trying to convince him to do things he didn't want to do. That is all.

No, but easier and more prolific. Thry feel like Instagram is real life and they must strive to live that way. Then they do what they got to do

The overwhelming majority don't react by murdering the mother to be.

Absolutely agree and never said otherwise. But if that's the case, the reality of 2019 is the women should move on from the man.
