He once showed up to a garage sale I was helping with, say 20 years ago. He asked to use the house phone to call a friend who must be interested in some of the things being sold. He then proceeded to pull out a fat stack of $100's and $20's to purchase a few things for his friend. He told me he blew glass to make art or something to that affect. I remember being floored he had that much money in his pocket.
