Go to any antiques mall/store in the country, they are filled with old china sets.
No one wants them anymore, value is very low unless you have rare pieces from a rare set.

Run of the mill china sets aren't very valuable but some is still collectible. There should be a name/mark on the back of the pieces that will tell you the maker and then you can find the value.

Agreed. Everybody used to have china. Nobody cares about it. It's more likely to be worth something if it's incredibly old (therefore like to not be a full set), or if it's cool mid century modern which is the current "cool" vintage stuff. Fancy china...my friend that does estate sales says they practically give it away.
I did display mine for years, but my china cabinet was ruined when the Texas freeze of 2021 burst a bunch of pipes. I now display it on my dining room table with it all set up pretty. We actually use it at Thanksgiving and Christmas. I like the pretty!

Agree with all of this. Displaying on the dining room table is a good idea. We used ours this Christmas as well. Even the dining room table is going by the way side much like the formal living rooms like my parents and most adults had when I was a kid.
