He's been working with DeWine and Holcomb for over a week now deciding on the May 1st date (they all announced together with other Midwest states). He's been working in concert with DeWine well before this as well. They were AGs together. Beshear is doing fine.

Ohio was doing good until the prison guards spread the virus to prisoners. Now beds are taken up by prisoners. When the next surge hits prisoners will be occupying the beds/ventilators and there won't be any room for other patients.
