Tonight: Waiting for wifey to arrive. Ordering in and watching a movie.

Tomorrow: Hanging out in Battery Park and popping around the city. Then have one year anniversary dinner at Daniel. Bill won't be so bad this year since wife is knocked up.

Sunday: Hanging out in Central Park. Then dinner at airport. Wife flies back to Boston and I fly out to Chicago.

It's 86 and sunny outside right now.

I see it will rain some here this weekend.

It's usually not that bad when it rains here. Rains like an hour or two...then back to sunshine.

My aunt makes a good gumbo using that and a bunch of other shite. She uses it because she needs to make an assload for thanksgiving.

Nurse I just saw on the today show or whatever was on that there were possible tornadoes or something down there. Might be later this weekend.

My restaurant buddies told me about it. They can whip up a good gumbo in a few minutes when a lot of people head over. They don't use it in the restaurants.

I was shocked when he told me it was a mix. But you can modify anything.

My aunt used to make it for most holidays from scratch. When she died the tradition was seemingly lost but they have started it up again using that. Sometimes I can barely taste the difference and I too was amazed that some of it came from out of a bag.

I liked the beef and eggs and chicken wings. I wasn't crazy about the ragoons. I liked how they brought the bread and pate to the table too. I've been given up on carbs. But I couldn't resist. I posted some pics in this thread.

The service was off. The brought all of the plates at once. The entrees came first, then they realized the mistake and went and grabbed the apps. I'm always in the neighborhood, so I'll go back.

No. She is in Boston doing a fellowship for a year and I am in NYC. Work is cool with me working remotely so it helps. I usually fly to Boston on Thursday or Friday night and catch the early morning flight back on Monday. Only about a 50 minute flight so not too bad.

I didn't order the Ragoon when I went; I'd recommend their Bacos as an app instead. I had everything brought out separately.

The bread & Pate are delicious.
