I’m 47...I might be thinking of another Brian.

It was such a nice neighborhood back then. It's sad that it's gone down some. My high school girlfriend lived right down the road off of Flannery in Shamrock Gardens

BIG neighborhood full of kids on BMX bikes. We had some epic football games down at that Greenbrier school. I still pass through there from time to time when I go visit my parents out in Central. It’s heart breaking to see what it has become.

Flannery from Choctaw all the way to greenwell Springs has also become a serious eyesore

Central seems to be doing well other than the neighborhoods way down Hooper closest to Glen Oaks. I grew up out there. Good schools have helped that area stay pretty decent.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Emergency crews responded to a shooting in the 3800 block of Yosemite Drive in Baton Rouge Sunday, Dec. 29.
One person was transported from the scene. Their condition was not immediately provided, however, emergency officials said they are stable.
Wbrz is slow to the trigger or they're not reporting these on purpose. I think they are independent, but they share a network with David Muir and the other abc libtards...funny how WAFB is aggressive in reporting these and WBRZ slows its roll.
Speaking of slowing roll...we have averaged a shooting a day since December 23rd.
Swb is a cancer to this city...yes even you black people. There is absolutely no plan in place. And these are all 70802 and 70805 mostly. Why should we care? And black citizens who only vote for your own race...you dont want a police force that protects you? You have exactly that and that is why kids are getting shot and retaliations will never stop.
Gravy and Chuana and C Denise and SWB and Silkky and all of the other cons do NOT care...not when it comes to blacks killing blacks.

That's the same area, Paul. It's about 2 streets over. Retaliation or the same shooting?

I’m beginning to think The Advocate is not reporting some of these anymore because of this thread.
They don’t want people knowing/point out how much of a shithole one area of the parish is and how 95% of homicides and shootings happen in that particular area.

You'd be shocked on what a FOIA would show in terms of unsolved homicide numbers in the shithole areas.

Can one just look this up or do you have to formally request the data?

That the same shooting Paul? If not, as poster above pointed out, that is one proximity.

There is an interactive map that shows where all the homicides are and if they are solved or unsolved

How many does this map show as being unsolved?

I'm slow today. I still cannot figure out. Did we have 2 shootings last night or one?
Posted on 12/30/19 at 1:30 pm to TigersSEC2010
I have updated the OP to include the non-fatal shooting last night on Byrd.
It is getting harder to track these. It certainly seems as if most of the non-fatal shootings are going unreported.

Winbourne is rough. My great aunt used to live off of that street until she died in the 90s. She was old and refused to move.
