You've always been one of my favorites, Iona .. We go e-way back .. You're a sharp old cookie ..

Hey, I invited you and yours to come live with me. That's the same as taking a bullet. And it's not to stare at your old lady's arse either. I swear.

Rag, I read through this thread and wanted to thank you for the nomination. As one of the peripheral characters around here, I was touched.
Iona, I mostly lurk over here because I am too busy taking pictures of the beers I am drinking and posting them on the F&D Board, but I must say that your posts are indeed well thought out and intelligent. You bring reason to the O-T.

The ones I have now I got from Don's in Laffy.

I can get you some from Ed's Hardware over here. But if you and Bush are gonna run me down the river when I'm not here, forget it.

We do go back a good e-way, Rag. I come here for the laughs and you are among the folks who do not disappoint in that category.
KJI, I appreciate your kind words. Life over the past three years or so has not gone the way I expected. I try to keep things in perspective and know that I can come here for a few chuckles every day. Age (and some common sense) keep me from responding to a lot of posts and I have clicked the "back" button rather than the "submit" button more often than I care to admit.
I would have never thought, when I signed onto TD in March 2006 to wish the Tigers well in the NCAA game against Iona, that I'd be here almost 8 years later. But you all convinced me that LSU is a great institution with a lot of good folks. I am proud to consider myself a Tiger fan and I thank you all for adopting me as such.

Reb, do you know anything about the Savannah, TN area? Thinking about buying some land up there. Demographics and hunting are both to my liking.
I know a great deal about Savannah. It's on Pickwick Lake. The demographics would be very much to your liking. The hunting is at least in the "good" category.
That's Bufford Pusser territory.

Gonna ride up there next month and check out the area.
Posted on 1/25/14 at 5:03 pm to Bushmaster
Give me a shout. I'll take you to the real State Line Club where Bufford Pusser used to run shine and ho's
I can probably put my hands on some real shine. We can get a few strippers out on a pontoon if the weather warms up a little.

Isn't that the truth Iona.I've had the same Username since 2003 because I've employed those tactics.
