I have a family member that drinks coffee nearly 24/7 always with the same mug. Never cleans it. If he goes to bed at night with some still left in it, he just splashes it out and puts more in fresh for the day.

This is why I make my coffee at home before I go to work. I don't have to deal with coffee pot BS and watered down coffee.

Make the protocol that the coffee mess gets cleaned up every afternoon.
The first coffee drinker into the office each morning gets to make the fresh pot.
Slobs leave dirty shiite in the sink all night.
