I could stand to lose 15-20 pounds, but I'm not paying a king's ransom for an eating disorder.

I'm no longer obese but I used intermittent fasting and cut out alcohol, twas a glorious day when I could see my pp again.

So the weight loss improved your eyesight too?

I’m on it, down 17 lbs, feeling great, starting to fit old clothes, working out, no food noise, zero fricks given about haters. Suck a dick, bitches.

Likewise.
I confess I didn’t even change my diet or exercise and still lost 32 pounds pretty easily. I’m only now doing that.
I don’t mind being on it indefinitely. I don’t care.

Define “eating disorder”. May not be as applicable in your case, but anyone obese has a disorder related to eating. Semi-glutides arent eating bone density and muscle. Those issues are a side effect of a poor diet/lack of exercise. At least these drugs give the obese person a better shot at getting their formerly fat arse off the couch and into some sort of exercise regimen.

some people are, some people aren't. why do you care?

Yes. I think if GLP-1 agonists lower obesity rates across the board that's a win as a society.
Individually, having had to come to terms with why I was overweight and learn that when I want to binge eat I have to reconcile that with my weight loss and understand what has triggered the emotion, people are doing themselves a disservice, IMO.
If you use it to lose weight and then it stays off and you change your diet, fantastic. I love it.
That's not going to happen for most people. Obesity is caused by eating too much. People typically eat too much to cope with issues in their lives. If you don't understand and solve those issues, the drug is nothing more than a placeholder while you yo-yo.
Again, IMO.

Edit: if it wasn’t clear… I am on Ozempic.
I just speak for myself. Ozempic is a cheat code for lazy people who don’t feel like cooking right or who get random sugar cravings at 2 am
I’m finally eating healthier now, but I lost 32 pounds not changing anything. I probably have 8 pounds to go but I’m in no rush. I’m literally only eating healthier to be healthy. But I wouldn’t have to change a thing if I wanted to go the rest of the way. It may just take longer.
But anyone who says you still have to eat healthy on Ozempic to lose weight is completely full of shite. It’s the ultimate cheat code. You don’t have to change a damn thing about your life. You just eat what you would normally eat, difference is you stay full longer.
That’s why fat people have literally no excuse anymore.

So is being fat to begin with.

I'm all for people doing whatever the hell they want, but it's delusional to think that a magic shot is going to do the work for you. For what it's worth, this applies more to the housewives thinking they found a cheat code than to someone who's morbidly obese and needs a kick start.

How do you know? Have you ever been on it? You sounds like someone that struggled with weight if you’re having to work to lose a toddler’s worth of fat. Why were you such a fat frick? You’re pathetic and should be ashamed of yourself for getting so fat you slob. Do you have no self control? Just eating your way through life. Oh but now you’re Mr mcjudgemental. You’re still a dirty fatty and you always will be. Embrace it.

The weight loss has been way more significant than this, problem is once they come off the drug, the weight comes right back.

And Advil artificially suppresses swelling. Everything you put in your body comes with a trade-off. And again,, this drug isn't causing malnourishment, the eating disorder is the root cause. The same eating disorder that the drug has shown unprecedented success in helping correct. I agree there is no magic pill, but if a person is severely overweight and the worst side effect we can come up with is losing too much weight, I think the reward trumps that risk every time.

Did you not read my post. I’m on it now. I lost 32 pounds without changing a damn thing.
So again I say, anyone who thinks people still need to eat right to lose weight on Ozempic are wrong. Which is why I say there’s no excuse for fat people now. You don’t have to do anything except take a shot in your leg once a week. I lost all that weight just giving myself a shot. It’s incredible.
I have no issue with people going on Ozempic and taking the easy way out. By all means do it. I’m doing it.
I guess the overall point I’m trying to make is that there’s nothing to be embarrassed about. Anyone who judges for taking an easier path to looking better, they’re just bitter that they put in 1000x the amount of work to get the same results.
