Under the proposed agreements described by Mr. Wiegmann, foreign investigators would be able to serve a warrant directly on a U.S. firm to see a suspect’s stored emails or intercept their messages in real time, as long as the surveillance didn’t involve U.S. citizens or residents.

Is this really a big deal?

It's something that just doesn't need to happen. Where does it end?

Just like the US giving up it's last bit of control over the internet. This should never happen.

As I have said on here before, I do not support Obama 100%, but I am not anti-Obama either. He is our POTUS and I respect that. With that said, some of you people look for anything to get worked up over that involves him.

Stop buying into the things people say, who have an agenda to make the president look bad (no matter who the president is). Keep in mind that the president of the US doesn't rule with an iron fist, we have congress as well, but presidents take the blame for everything. Don't be in the group of people who get caught up in the stupid.

As soon as those responsible for allowing this are held accountable.

I never thought say this, but we seriously need another J. Edgar Hoover and a red scare again.

Problem is mist of the entertainment and media industry would be gone.
