They went into this PiP commercial without warning!
Man, that NBC doctor show looks like it’s going to be good and not preachy in the least.

Not going to read the thread, just response to this post:
Is the 60 minute iron man match worth watching? Don’t tell me who won, just if it was a good match.

I don't know. I'm not big on watching four cruiserweights for an hour but that's just personal preference.

so does Gargano & Ciampa being taken out of the NXT Championship picture tonight confirm Retribution involvement?
Posted on 9/1/20 at 9:27 pm to rt3
That was my first thought. There’s nothing left for them in nxt. Let them go get buried on the main roster.

HORRIBLE timing. The clock was on 2 seconds by the time he rolled him over. I'd even go as far as to say it looked like Finn sandbagged him. Great awareness by the referee to count faster and them to not ring the bell right when it hit 0.
I'm tired of the non-stop gimmick matches in NXT. With them sending most of their top carders to the retribution invasion angle I'm not so sure Finn and the UE is > AEW once we get back to the WNWs. I think the WWE sphere's reliance on gimmick matches post-WM is going to bite them in the arse when they get back to running a normal schedule.
I think their pre-Kung Flu losses mixed with what this has shown them they don't need to do 6 house shows every weekend. I won't be surprised if they modified Vince Sr's operation and ran a house show (as they were called recently "supershows" with both brands there) every 3-4 weeks. Perhaps it's one a month between PPVs and its on the rumored "premium tier". That's 10 shows a month and if they go to cities big enough for a pro sports team that allows them to basically visit each city every 3 months.
I think they can go back to NXT's old model but perhaps scale back their Florida events slightly. I think them doing their 3 event tours every few months makes sense. I know they ran Indy-Chicago-Green Bay during their first tour of the Midwest and it was quite successful. It's been 5+ years but they even had surprise appearances from main roster guys who spent time in the cities.
