Covid caused him to stumble near the edge of the boat, allowing the shark to nab him. Had he been eaten, it would have been a Covid death. Thankfully he isn’t another number

I’m thinking the shark was on the line, the boy grabbed the leader and the shark hauled arse with his hand tangled on leader, pulling him in. This has happened with marlin and grown arse
