OP relax, what you're feeling is natural. It's called ambition.
The solution is always set a new goal to strive for.
For example, I had a goal of retiring after 25 years in the military. I reached that goal. But after 25 years of reaching for a goal every day, yes life would feel empty if you don't set a new goal to chase.
That's what life is about, chasing goals.
My new goal is to be the best husband and father I can be and to help as many children who aren't as fortunate as my own as much as I can every day. We've adopted 3 kids since I retired, and I spend every day trying to make sure they have as good a life as my own kids do.

Sounds like my dad, never content. Accomplish so much, and still miserable. Must be fun.

I find it more rewarding to successfully complete small goals in a large project than the ultimate goal. Once you finish the main goal, it's just like, "Okay....what do we do now?".
Tbh, I think I prefer things to be more stressful than easy. If something is too easy, I'd get bored. I'm just waiting for a harder challenge. It would feel like a vacation, and I don't really like vacations.
Believe it or not, some people like the challenge more than the reward
