It would be cool to mount a new flat screen in one.

I don't often post much, but I just have to say that this is probably my favorite thread I've seen in awhile. Thank you for this.

Did you have the console tv with the record player in the top? My older sister had one of those. I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Back in the 70's we had this big arse black and white console TV with a record player on one side and an 8 track on the other side. We also had Pong.

80s was the shite! TV was better...Cartoons were beyond super awesome. Music was just perfect. Everything about the decade was great. We had a REAL president who was presidential..not some Bush or Obama shite for brains. For me, it was my golden era to be alive..thank God I lived to see the entire beginning to end.

This is the only thing I'd argue. Today's TV is amazing, not counting cartoons.

"I'm a pepper, she's a pepper, he's a pepper. Wouldn't you like to be a pepper to?!?" I remember this ad, and it being on a movie called short circuit. Where number 5 would be like, wouldn't you like to be a pepper to?

The fact that it would change tracks in the middle of a song still blows my mind.
