You're right. Let's just shoot people because they may have a weapon. Everybody is a possible suspect; anybody can be justifiably shot if they don't immediate behave the way that particular cop believes is acceptable.
That would destroy their "if you're innocent, you have nothing to fear from the cops" argument. It's just easy to demonize the victim in this case.

Hope this helps

Taylor, 20, and the two men he was with matched the descriptions of a 911 caller who said three men had "flashed" a gun. And Cruz saw them "making a scene" on their way to the 7-Eleven near 2100 S. State Street.
Confronted by officers, the two men with Taylor held up their hands, while Taylor alone was "noncompliant."
quote:
Body-cam video shows that Taylor turned toward officers with his hands in his pants before hoisting his shirt — a gesture officers are trained to recognize as a possible weapon-draw.
"Nothing that Mr. Taylor did assisted in de-escalating the situation," Gill said. "If anything, it escalated things."
quote:
Taylor's 22-year-old brother and 21-year-old cousin were the two men with him and whose clothing matched that described by a 911 caller, who told dispatchers "some gangbangers" walking near 200 East and 1900 South had "flashed" a gun.
"They're obviously looking for trouble, just the way they look," the caller said, according to a transcript of the call.
quote:
The caller described men wearing a white shirt, a striped shirt and a red shirt — the clothing worn by Taylor, his brother and his cousin.
"It was very distinctive descriptions," Cruz said later, according to a transcript of his interview with investigators. Cruz noted he was about two blocks away when the call came in.
"There was no doubt that I was going to run into those guys," he said.
Cruz spotted the men, called for backup and watched as the trio crossed State Street at 2100 South, Gill wrote.

We know your tPOS deceased did not have a weapon.
From your mountains of evidence, can you copy/paste which of the 3 actually had it on him? After all, those 2 put hands up in compliance.
Where's the gun?

All you tards calling this "murder" are fricking idiots. The cops were called about some motherfrickers flashing a gun. They pull up to the scene and this guy sketches off, they say put your hands up, he puts his hands in his pants and turns around and says "nah fool." What the frick do you expect with that kind of behavior? That piece of shite was asking to get shot. And pull that "he had his earphones in and was minding his own business" fricking bullshite. fricker saw the cops pulling up.
Keep up the internet heroics, internet heroes. I'm sure you live your lives to the highest moral standards in actual real life.

Cops get a report of someone (or someone in a group) flashing a gun.
Cops pull up to the scene and see three people matching the description (clue #1)
Dude is walking to the truck, sees cops, immediately does a 180, and walks sketchily away (clue #2)
Dude is obvious aware of the police, as he just saw them pull up, and doesn't pay attention to the police orders. He abandons his friends and shuffles away while cops scream at him to stop (clue #3)
Dude finally turns and, instead of stopping and putting his hands up at the sight of guns pointed at him, he grabs his waistband and fiddles around as if to pull out a gun (clue #4)
When the cops are already on high alert due to reports of a gun being flashed around and you factor in the clues above, it's not hard to see how this happened.
It sucks and I feel for all parties involved, but the situation could have just as easily been worse as it could have been avoided

I've yet to kill an unarmed, innocent man. So I've got that going for me.

haha no shite. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.
Though I think it's mainly now every time a cop kills a civilian, everyone rushes out with, "ZOMGZZZZ cops R outta control!!!!!11"
And I'm normally pretty outspoken on ignorant cops shooting folks but this one is as easy as it gets.

So which of the 3 was carrying the weapon?
Surely the 911 caller got it right... That's what your entire rant is based on.
Who had it? Tell us.

Neither have I.
I also haven't ever been a cop. Or been a cop and confronted men that I've been told are armed. Or had one of those supposedly armed men turn at me aggressively with his hands in his pants (as if he were pulling out a gun…to shoot me).

You're a bitch ...bitch. Have a gun pointed on you by a Muslim who speaks a different language, and then imagine not being able to shoot them because of global Geneva conventions. I didn't shoot, but this loser scum sucking small town Barney did

Huh?
You keep saying they flashed a gun and a 911 call had the responding officers on high alert.
Two men put their hands up. 1 did not and died.
Which of the 3 suspects had the gun?
Sober enough for you?
