New Orleans Drug Court Judge Williams 'just being real'

Is drug court like a regular courtroom and the public can sit in? I might be interested in sitting in his court room, but I don't think he will be on the bench much longer. Was under investigation for groping and inappropriate prior to this.

Chief Public Defender Derwyn Bunton fired off a letter Wednesday to Chief Judge Keva Landrum-Johnson, reporting some bizarre behavior by Williams as he presided last week over his drug court docket.
According to Bunton's letter, a female public defender in his office opened the Section G courtroom door to peek inside, then began to walk away when Williams “excitedly told her to come in while grabbing her by the arm and pulling her to his side.”

Williams then wrapped an arm around the public defender and set about to use her as a teaching tool while making references to her physical appearance before a courtroom packed with drug court clientele, according to the account.
The judge “asked them to notice how well dressed she is, how attractive she is, and what a good size she is,” comparing her to the girlfriend of a drug court participant there who herself had completed the program. “He told the audience that the graduate’s girlfriend looked just like the attorney when she finished drug court.”
The judge then “digressed into a seemingly unrelated story about a drug court participant who gave birth in jail because he would not release her.” It turns out that woman was present in the courtroom, sitting as an inmate in the jury box.
“Williams had the woman in the box stand up and asked the audience to compare her appearance to the (public defender’s),” Bunton wrote. The judge “then declared that the father of the child born in jail was in court too. He made the father come up to the front of the room as well.”

Bunton wrote that another woman later that morning also “made the mistake of opening the courtroom door to peek in.”
“Williams told her it looks like she needs drug court and made her come in. When she took offense, he said he was just 'being real'
