Just rescued a beautiful mutt dog (the best kind). I believe Revvy is a doberman/beagle mix with a dash of something else thrown in but that's neither here nor there.

lol no need. You stick their nose in the piss or shite they just did in the house. Either spank their arse or slap the snout. Either one.

Within 5 weeks if a puppy they will not piss/shite inside the house minus if left in to long. Bladder can't hold it long enough yet.

I will go back to training in a sec.....

Lastly, has anyone had a bitch that went into heat after 1 year of age?

Unless you plan to breed her, get her spaided now. Trust me.

Back to actual training. It's always about 'treats'. Every domesticated animal understands and responds to a treat. A dog biscuit honestly.

It takes constant day by day. Command, treat, command, treat.

After a few months, you are good. Always have to be on the dog the first 5 months. You do that, your dog won't piss/shite in the house (unless sick or left inside past the bladder limit -9 hrs for mine), and your dog will sit, stay, or fetch forever.

Happy dog owning
