Tell you physical therapist to work out the scar tissue. Then find something to bite down on. Few episodes of that should improve the burning assuming it's not from nerve severing. Scar tissue is a bitch and needs to be broken up early.

Do not do this. You don’t want someone jacking with your shoulder when the actual problem sounds like it’s more at your wrist, at the superficial branch of the radial nerve, based on the purely sensory symptoms and distribution of symptoms. I’m guessing you had some straps around your wrist during surgery for positioning of the shoulder, or a really strong surgery assistant holding your wrist to manipulate the arm/shoulder.

Couldn’t tell you TBH. I woke up and had 3 small incisions around my shoulder and a 3” incision on my upper bicep. It was tearing in the shoulder socket and had to have in relocated. And actually the recover from that isn’t nearly as bad as I was expecting. If I can get this tingling to go away I’ll be alright. But from what I’m feeling, you nailed it right on the head.

3 weeks 5 days removed from total right hip replacement. Area below the incision was numb for about 3 weeks before getting all feeling back.
