Alright, I can't take it anymore. Someone recommend some pool builders on the north shore.

my buddy recently did a nice pool.
got bids from either 3-4, some were the most reputable ones here. pleasure pools and another one. He ended up with Oasis Pools. got the most product for the best price. prices came down pretty significant after initial bids and having to haggle them all down. Oasis did a really good job. my buddies pool is pic 5 i think on his website.

For those that have had one installed, how much extra work am I looking at since I have a big oak in the backyard that would need removed? Could I just get a tree removal company to ground cut it and then when they're digging the hole for the pool remove that along with the dirt? It isn't anything I'll be doing soon, but when we bought the house almost 10 years ago we thought about adding a pool. Now that my daughter is a little older and my son is almost 3, the talks have started again. Especially with mom at home with them both all summer. She can take them with her to the pool at the gym, but it would be nice on those weekends and evenings when I get off work to join them out there.

Also, make sure the contractor has insurance. Make him bring you a copy of the Accord cert and then call the agency to make sure it is legit.
