So did they come to an agreement? I can't find an article but have Cox and am no longer getting the prior music and message screen.

Did you even watch the channel for more than 2 seconds? It would answer your question.

After more than a week this is ridiculous. Most of these contract disputes last maybe 3-4 days.

I guess it's gonna take getting all the way to the cancel department to get offered a discount.

Wow, that actually works for you? I've tried this in the past and was asked "what day do you want your service turned off?"

Cox is ruthless.

At what point does someone from the Corporate NBC Office at 30 Rockefeller tell these local clowns at WVLA to come up with a reasonable offer (Not triple from what the previous contract was) Cox can work with? It's been 10 days, After a month?

WVLA is not owned by NBC Universal. It's owned by a company called Nextar Independent, they just have an NBC affiliation. Exacly the same way that WAFB is owned by Raycom and WBRZ is owned by the Manship family. Only a handful of stations around the country are actually owned by their network, none of them are in Baton Rouge.

The more you know...

Just hook up a pair of "rabbit ears" and watch NBC. It may be a pain in the arse, but you can watch the playoff game today.

Had an extra pair in the closet for tailgating. RadioShack. Wal mart. Best Buy. Go buy one and return it tomorrow haha. Their cheapest shittiest one will work ~$20

They have to realize after today no one basically wants to watch anything on their air until the summer olympics right?

Cox should just pull out of talks with them until then
