If they don’t want abortion legal that’s fine but expect lots more of this.

ahh, but that's just it... they want it both ways... while also cutting out access and availability for birth control that would prevent a large number of unwanted pregnancies...

Nor are they ok with raising taxes to help pay for the millions of new babies that will need supporting.

yep, for all the "put it up for adoption" people out there, how do you plan on paying for all these new mouths we have to feed? the money has to come from somewhere in order to take care of the orphanages, etc...

i believe George Carlin's take on pro-lifers is pretty spot on... all for the fetus, but as soon as you're born, you're fricked... hope you can take care of yourself and dodge bullets...

But but abstinence is free why can’t everyone just do that?

Who in the US is cutting out birth control access?

Weird angle from a guy with a Ralph Waldo Emerson quote in his signature line.

I'm pretty sure the amount of money spent in Ukraine over the last year would support a shite load of children for years to come.

I once saw a defendant in what used to be called child support court who was before the judge for non payment of child support. He had 17 children by 13 different mothers. Number 17 mother had him in court. He was a scrawny pos that worked for cash moving house trailers. He would go to jail from time to time.

The judge asked her what made you think he was going to support your child when he doesn't support the previous 16.

Different scenario completely. This guy is a multi-millionaire famous musician. A girl getting knocked up by him is like a lottery ticket. At least for now, in the short term. She was going to get knocked up by someone regardless, better to be a rich guy than a poor guy.

Swell news. Swell. I'm sure he'll be a fantastic father to his current 11 children, and the dozen or more that will come in the next few years.

you CLEARLY can't read between the lines to understand what side of the fence i'd be on for more taxes to help orphanages...

but one of the things that doesn't get factored in, in the rush to abolish Roe vs. Wade, is how do we take care of the waves of children that will be born as a result of the lack of options a woman now has... outlawing abortion doesn't make all the problems go away... it just creates a different problem, in another area... so what's the solution to this, and are you ok with doing whatever it takes, including possibly paying more in taxes, to protect this life?

would go a long way, for sure, but then so would a small percentage of the defense budget... and we waste A LOT of money in that budget

I clearly took your post to mean "If we can't pay for them, lets just abort them". If I read you wrong, then I'm wrong, or if you misstated your position, you can admit that too hopefully.

Yes.

100% agree. Our defense budget is so big because we provide global security for all the little countries who spend jack shite on their defense because they know Daddy USA will defend them. So those little countries get to have nice things. Remember when Trump demanded that NATO countries commit 1% of their GDP's to their own militaries, which is in the NATO charter, and the left and Europe went batshit crazy?

Yes.

as am i, however, i am pro-choice... however, i do think that if the woman CHOOSES to have the child and put it up for adoption, we should care for the life of the child as best as we can (and America is really, really fricking rich, so we can do pretty good)

To follow up on an earlier question you glossed over, after you said people were trying to ban birth control, who are the people trying to ban birth control? And by birth control, I mean pregnancy prevention. Are there old white conservative men who are trying to ban birth control (pregnancy prevention) pills to menstration age girls?

it was a hypothetical, but that's the fear for a lot of people... that restrictions on access to birth control will be another thing that will be targeted... we already see some companies omitting contraceptives from their insurance plan's formularies, due to their stated beliefs or affiliations... access to birth control is already a challenge for many, many women in America, so any attempt to further stifle that could have a very large impact

And he's basically the idol that about 50% of my students and players look up to and want to emulate. Solid.
