Good, I don’t blame them.
At one point I think the Barksdale AFB Commander was thinking about making significant parts of Shreveport off limits to Airmen.

I was stationed in va beach for years in the navy . It’s probably the only naval base east side of the Mississippi that isn’t surrounded by the hood . Things you’ll find outside of just about any military base strip clubs, pawn shops, loan offices, cheap hotels , shite hole bars and drugs .

I have a black friend who grew up in rural Louisiana where 100% of his closest friends growing up were white, and he still somehow believes dumb stuff like this. He’s college educated too (and not some SJW useless degree, he’s a computer programmer).
ETA: I try to tell him that as a white guy it’s much more dangerous for me to hangout in an all black neighborhood after dark than him hanging out in an all white neighborhood after dark, but he’s not convinced
