The nation’s average price of gasoline has risen 3.1 cents over the last week and stands at $2.76 per gallon, according to GasBuddy® data compiled from more than 12 million individual price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country. The national average is down 8.6 cents from a month ago and is 32.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel fell 1.0 cents in the last week and stands at $3.465 per gallon.

“After seven straight weeks of declines, the national average price of gasoline has moved higher, breaking the streak as oil prices have climbed back near $60 per barrel after dipping into the mid-$50s,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy. “There’s still a window of opportunity to revisit—or even beat—recent gas price lows, but that window will begin to close soon."

With tensions in Iran easing and President Trump no longer threatening action there, oil prices have softened slightly after touching $60 per barrel last week. Still, prices remain elevated compared to just a few weeks ago, as persistent geopolitical concerns continue to underpin the market. In early Monday trading, WTI crude fell 27 cents to $59.17 per barrel, modestly above last week’s $58.75 level. Brent crude also slipped, down 34 cents to $63.79 per barrel, but remained higher than last Monday’s $63.07 close.

I paid under 2 bucks the other day. I haven't seen it that low in a very long time.

Paid $2.10 down in South Texas/Rio Grande Valley yesterday. By my house, just checked, $2.01
As for Exxon, it’s $2.06, if I get my truck washed, it’s $1.96/gallon.
It’s been like that for a couple weeks.
