Yes. Most clubs don't start select until U11. He was in Academy last year, where they basically divide the kids and most play every position. Academy doesn't play when Rec is going on, so he was playing when a U10 club was out looking for a couple of players. He was asked to play on an '06 squad and we figured why not, they practice 20 minutes closer to our house than Academy does.

There are about 15 U10 select teams in the NOLA tournament next weekend, and there were almost that many in Gulfport last weekend, so there around. Some really good squads out there...U11 doesn't just start select, these teams will be ready on day one.
