This is what I’m wrestling with. I know that it SHOULD be some... and she’s so scared of the prospect of “handling it” (with either the red hot needle or whatever) and it’s made/making me feel helpless and crazy that she won’t even try to let me help her.

Again, she’s like a little kid with a loose tooth that won’t pull the damn thing out
