I had a daughter get a D in chemistry her senior year because the teacher could not fathom that some seniors take chemistry and not physics, and when my daughter went with her mother to see colleges, the excuses my ex wrote were not accepted.
My ex went to the school and yelled. Grade raised to passing.

Daughter was accepted to all schools applied to, including a UC, which is the top end in California.

Life went on.

When I was a senior at LaGrange. Lake Charles, nearly all the seniors of one teacher failed American History.
I got an A, as did the two rally people. one got a B, a couple got C's and all the rest of his classes got an F.
He was fired and the principal gave C's to everyone with an F.
He was one of the best teachers I ever had. But he was unreasonable. We had to know the cabinets of all the presidents. goofy.
Went back to LSU and got his Phd.
I had to have an A on the final because I refused to do a final paper on topics selected by the VFW. Else I would have had to do summer school.
If I had had a 100 average for the last 6 weeks, I would not have had to have an A on the final. We had a quiz every week and a 6 weeks test. I missed one question.

Even though this is as obvious a troll as I have ever seen, I got a really good laugh out of it regardless.

My hope was that I'd get more super angry posts from those who insist on calling themselves " professional educators ". I should have been more subtle.

Guess what? No one will care what her high school GPA is
