we had to pay for the demo...dry out fans Dehu's etc...mold testing...I was already hanging and floating Sheetrock....had to pay 1/2 down on my cabinets I was replacing...storage units...the list goes on. I had also purchased alot of replacement items I knew we were going to need that I found good deals on etc etc

the content itemization process is brutal...list every little last item, approx value, etc. let the wife handle that since I am a degenerate at paperwork

Ok, you had to come out of pocket but you were reimbursed? You're scaring me.

When I say come out of pocket I mean I was moving the process along with rebuilding my house. Yes, the money I spent was included in the damage report of my home, but I didn't wait around until I rec'd my insurance check to start putting my home back together.

All I am saying is i spent my own money to start re-building way before I got my insurance claim money
