Go to the store and buy a container of Tang breakfast drink. Run a cycle or two of this through the machine. This will get it nice and clean and smelling right.
Also, check the screen in the drain and make sure it's clean.

As others have stated, the drain is probably feeding back from disposal.
Not letting me post pic from mobile.
Google "high loop" and you will see the solution. Just a longer drain hose, straight shot off disposal, run up to top of cabinet, zip tie and then run down to dishwasher.
