If he wants to make money with the power of technology, tell him to go to garage sales and thrift stores and start flipping on eBay, Poshmark, and Mercari.

We have kids that age in our neighborhood that offer to do any work around the yard or house for $20 an hour. I've used them a bunch for bagging leaves, clearing out my attic and garage, etc.
