Not defending his actions because it's a cowardly and incredibly selfish thing to do especially in front of your own children, but I've seen some of the strongest people I know break down after they've been told they will have limited access to their kids and it will be at the ex spouses discretion. My parrain is still paying his trash bag of an ex spouse 12 years after they divorced. 12 years. He doesn't even know this woman anymore....but he has to send her a very sizeable check every month for life unless she remarries, and she will never remarry because of this. It's a fricked up world we live in. Some people can't handle it. Again, no excuse for something like this.

I've known many people who have had to go through really nasty divorces with drawn out custody battles. In many cases the justice system is stacked in the woman's favor and it is unfair and unjust to a hard working father. Some people would rather die than have a judge determine that they can't see their kids, or that they're going to have to support and hand over half of his retirement and everything else to an ungrateful ex spouse who never earned a damn thing. It's a tough burden to bear because it's unfair and no judge should deny a father the right to at least 50% custody of his children when he is capable and wants to have them with him. The government understands that if they don't make the husband take care of the ex spouse, then the government is going to have to pay for her. It's a really fricked up situation because even when a father gets 50% custody they still have to pay ALOT of child support. It's not fair to the father. Some people can't handle it and snap. These children are victims of this screwed up thing we call a justice system.

Yall women got 2 be careful how u handle these men in times like this. don't misunderstand me, there is NO excuse 4 what he did. But i'd bet u she said 1 thing that she knew would hurt him. Kinda the way alota women fight. What they lack in muscle they make up in words. We all know pride comes b4 a fall. Sometimes all a guy has left in a divorce situation. I said all that to say this, be careful & cautious ladies. It's 1 thing to be right, yet quite another to be dead right.

Yup.
When a vengeful woman is attempting to take almost everything a man has worked for and has the help of the"justice" system some men may get to the point of "nothing to lose" or "I will lose everything so she can not take anymore." I'm surprised we don't see more of this.

i'm fairly confident this is what happened here.

The most fricked up thing about the "justice" system is that the states use "we're doing what's best for the children" when awarding large amounts of child support even to someone that only has 50% custody. If parents have 50% custody of their children, neither should have to pay anything to the other. The excuse is that "the child should have equal lifestyles at each home". It's bullshite and if one parent isn't as hard working or doesn't work at all then the burden of all expenses is placed on the hard working parent. This has nothing to do with the children, it has to do with the fact that the government knows that if the ex spouse isn't supporting that household with their hard earned money then the government will have to support that household. I have nothing against people who have less than 50% custody or parents who don't spend time with their children paying child support, but if you have 50% custody and you legitimately already pay half of the child's expenses there should be no reason that you have to pay the ex money as well, but believe me that is the way it works.

I think you'll find some staunch support from a few of us in here. But most of the OT is'married to the perfect wife' or 'living the perfect single life'.
