I can't stand this mentality. Math competitions are not tee-ball. The schools that consistently place are just better. They are in a demographic with more motivated teachers, parents and students.

They already have State conventions.

In LA there's always some 12-13 year old Asian kid from Baton Rouge High that aces the tests.
