I was a center and played college ball as well. We had over 150 players and I can assure you not one swinging dick in that locker room wore a cup! We wore jocks, but no cup. Hell the jockstraps that we were issued didn't have a pocket for a cup. I have a teenager playing at one of the top high schools in the state and he laughed when I asked him if any of his teammates were wearing cups.

You are the first and only football player that I am aware of that wore a cup to play football and based on the responses to your post you seem to be the exception rather than the norm. More power to you.

I agree with all guys saying jocks no cups. I had to think about it for a minute because I definitely recall the jocks, because I remember players getting pants going to the locker room right in front of cheerleaders, and throwing them in washing machine with practice shite but at least in the 70s and 80s only baseball players wore cups.

I can actually only remember getting racked a few times and all those were in practice.
