Didn't realize babies were lactose intolerant, esp to breast milk...

How can a baby be lactose intolerant

The baby is born and has a deficiency of lactase. You either give it non-dairy or give it lactase supplements.

Babies can have severe allergic reactions to dairy of any sort and it can be very serious.
