Most ridiculous reason for flight delay

Mine was today...
I just waited a half hour after landing because a swarm of honey bees had formed on the end of the skybridge...
we had to wait until another airplane left so there would be an empty gate to pull up to....
have to say, it was kind of fun sitting there watching the runway workers trying to figure out what to do...every now and then one of the would get chased around the tarmac by a bee...
What is the most ridiculous thing that has ever caused one of your flights to be delayed or canceled?...

We had pulled away from the gate and a tornado was approaching, had to sit on the runway and wait it out.

I shite you not, I had a delay once because they were having trouble restocking the plane with drinks and snacks....

honestly thought you were at MSY when I read title. I might have you beat-- I'm stuck at MSY right now because the captain crushed his hand adjusting his seat. This happened while we were on the ground, after everyone had loaded, waiting to push back. Now, for some reason, THE PLANE is out of service and we are waiting for a new plane and captain and will be delayed at least two hours. I understand why the captain can't fly (attendant said he almost severed two of his fingers) by why the bloody hell can't the plane fly?

this happend at jackson, ms...it was like watching a fricking three stooges episode...
I can't for the life of me figure out how people were working around this all day and nobody noticed until 7 PM...and not until the exact moment the airplane that I was on tried to pull up to the gate....

yrs ago when I lived in ATL (shortly post 9/11) some UGA fan ran down the up escalator out of the secure area because he left his camera on the plane. They shut down the entire airport for several hours. It was the friday before a game in Athens and I think they may have mentioned something about it on the TV broadcast of the game.

My flight from Dallas to Chicago was delayed for 2 1/2 hours because the plane wouldn't start. We changed planes and the captain said "hopefully it works this time" as we took off
