...I don't mean outrageous stuff online, but from people you actually know.

I think this phenomenon is fascinating, culturally.

Best use...woman from high school with 2 kids, pregnant with a 3rd lost husband (early/mid 30s) from a very sudden brain cancer; like 8 weeks from diagnosis to death. One kid has some kind of medical issues so she stopped working. Terrible situation and I pitched in.

Worst use...a couple has had trouble with pregnancy, spent a lot on IVF and still no kid. They have a go-fund-me to raise money for more IVF. Not terrible, right? Problem is they make zero, I mean zero effort to cut back on their lifestyle. They eat out 3-4 times a week, go to every concert or game, long weekend trips every 2-3 months etc. This is not bad, and what professional people with 10+ years of working full time and no kids can do, but now they're asking friend for money and it's a big shite storm.

I'd rather light money on fire than give it some SJW babyback bitch.

A girl on my Facebook whines every month about being broke and about to be kicked out of her apartment, etc...

She created a gofundme and listed all of her bills, which included: rent, cox bill, a speeding ticket, veterinary bill, and a lot of other random shite.

People donated and paid it all off for her.

She goes to LSU for art and does a lot of lame shitty paintings for money, which I assume is her only source of income, but she still hasn't figured out if she isn't surviving on being an artist now, she probably never will.

Now she advertises Bernie Sanders shite on her Facebook every day, go figure.
