He can file a lien and he can file suit. Those are his only options and the won’t foreclose on a home over a lien. If the court doesn’t order a payment the only way a lien pays off is if the owner sells and can’t get a clear title.
Since it was nailed down he can’t touch it. Now he is in shite. Anything installed stays. If he had a pallet of shingles on the ground he could have taken those.
And the above on the carpet the same thing. If the homeowner would have wanted to come after you he could have.

Can't foreclose a valid lien? Well that's horseshite! Not how things are done in Arkansas.

I sold a cheap arse carpet job to a guy for 800 bucks but installed it the same day. He didnt pay. I couldnt get a hold of him. I still had the key a few months later and i ripped that son a bitch out by hand and took everything but the tack strip. I resold the carpet.
So is a carpet the same as used roof tiles?

I’ve been arrested for disturbing the peace while trying to collect a business debt. I have a friend who repossessed a Housepad. He spent more money than he was owed to get it. Another got arrested for “stealing” a starter off a truck that the owner wouldn’t pay for. Well worth it in all cases. Not paying a vendor is stealing. Frick a thief.
