I have some almost exactly like the tan pair( minus broguing) and I love them. I usually pair them with raw denim jeans and a button down and I get compliments almost every time.

I don't understand the several "not with jeans" comments. They look great with a darker pair of jeans and a blazer.

I also wear my with a suit quite a bit.

Personal preference. They typically just don't work well in my opinion.


These look better with denim.


If I were wearing them, I'd still push for the more work-casual look (guy on the left)

It is a classic look, nothing new, but definitely not business wear. I personally don't wear them with a suit, but it s nice look good with a sport coat combo. Some wear with denim or chinos, I prefer with pressed dress trousers. John Lobb double monk is a classic. Alden has a great single monk strap that can be had in shell cordovan.
