Money Order to a Complex

So my younger brother is moving into an apartment complex and they requested a money order for his security deposit. He got a money order and made it out to the complex’s name. He asked if he needed to put someone’s name that works there in order for the complex to receive the money. I never had to do a money order so what’s the whole process with that? Should he have put a name? I’m ready for him to get out my house ASAP so it is kind of urgent

That’s how I got my place. I bounced my security deposit check, then claimed I got laid off because of Covid. They can’t kick me out because of the moratorium on evictions.
