My only thought about this is surely to god they knew long before that segment started that he would get booed out of the building in Brooklyn

I think what people don't realize is that Daniel Bryan was handled the same way. I hated every minute of it, literally stopped watching for a year because they kept feeding it to us.
I know a lot of people loved it, but the point is volume of content isn't the issue. The issue is that he got pushed when people still wanted to see Bryan, and people lashed out over it.
