“The suspect was at the location, having some sort of disagreement with a female who was already at the convenience store at that time,” Brown said. “The victim came up, after they were finished with their argument, and said a few words to the suspect. At that point, the suspect got very aggressive with the victim. He started punching the victim, physically assaulting him in the parking lot.”

Police said that’s when the suspect, 30-year-old Jacob Cross, hit Walker with his vehicle and drove home.
The victim, unfortunately, was trapped underneath the car, throughout that ride for about two miles,” Brown said. “Once they got to Dawes Lane East, the victim was located right next to the vehicle. And we were able to make an arrest.”

The news showed the blurred out video of the guy driving down the road with the body underneath this morning.

I wish there was video of it (him hitting the dude in white with the car) to see if it was on purpose or not. In the video in the news clip linked, the dude in white kept coming back over and over, including when the Cross dude tried getting into his car. I wonder if that has any affect on anything.
And I'm not excusing either one of them or their actions (because hitting someone with your car and then driving two miles with them trapped underneath is obviously bad), just wondering if at some point it matters that dude in white inserted himself into this situation and refused to leave it.
