quote:

Colloqate describes itself as a “multidisciplinary nonprofit design justice practice focused on expanding community access to, and building power through the design of, social, civic and cultural spaces” to “intentionally organize, advocate and design spaces of racial, social and cultural equity.” It is led by New Orleanians Bryan C. Lee Jr. and Sue Moble

FFS how much bullshite can you fit into one small paragraph.

I honestly think Lee Circle should be turned into a memorial for all Katrina survivors, the people who died and all first responders. Like the Gloucester Fisherman's Memorial in Massachusetts

The period of time after Katrina was a time that really brought the people of this city together.

Just go to Colloqate's website and click around. This is a far left, SJW outfit. Whatever it decides for the REL pedestal is going to be very, very ugly and controversial. If we can't have REL I'd prefer the City just make the whole circle a green space than a bronze clenched fist on the pedestal.

Yikes, this is going to be bad.

Why not make Lee's Circle Brees' Circle and put Drew up there? Seems like the one thing everyone should be able to agree on?

It doesn’t matter what you or we agree with.

It’s what does the mayor and city council agree with and I doubt very seriously they care what we think.
