re: Mississippi cops using kids for pot busts

I woke up this morning incredibly happy that this 60 minutes aired. Ole Miss students have been trying to tell the outside world about Keith for years. It’s a very serious issue and the guy is a world class piece of shite.

He’d routinely go into his CI’s homes without invitations to harass them about going out and finding more kids to turn into drug dealers. He’d get kids that have only tried marijuana to go into large coke deals while risking their own safety. But even worse IMO is what they said on 60 minutes, he doesn’t catch drug dealers, he creates them.

Its absolutely unreal.

Personal story:
Very good friend, a female cheerleader with great grades that came from a good family, was told by Keith she was being charged with multiple felonies and faced decades in jail. This girl had never been in trouble in her life.

Her crime? She was prescribed to Adderall and a fellow cheerleader (male) begged her to buy one for finals. She said no, on tape, nearly a dozen times. He was relentless in his begging. Finally, she sold him 1 5 mg Adderall for 5 dollars after cheerleading practice and told him, on tape, that she isn’t ever doing that again and don’t tell people because she didn’t want to do that for anyone else.

The guy was wearing a wire for all of their conversations. Her car was stopped on her way home from practice and she was arrested by the metro narcotics unit dressed in SWAT-esque gear with rifles, vests, helmets, etc. They tried to turn her into a drug buyer and she said she didn’t know anyone that sold drugs. Thankfully she told her parents who got her lawyered up in a quickness. Because of this she was kicked out of school and faced a felony. Her lawyer was told the tapes of her saying “no” a dozen times were “misplaced”. They eventually found them after getting a judge to help. The court dropped the charges due to “entrapment” and she was reinstated in school. The cops (Keith) never faced any repercussions or public scrutiny.

This is just one story out of several I could tell. Another is a close friend that sold a gram of pot at his house party to a mutual acquaintance that asked. It was from his personal stash and this guy was never, ever a drug dealer. The guy had his door kicked down and was chose the charges, which have been expunged, over becoming a snitch. The acquaintance was not some mystery. Everyone found out he was a snitch and he left school.
