My dad just turned 84 and is headed down this road. He’s become very forgetful and it’s accelerating. He was a land man and his sense of direction was impeccable.
Now he’s getting lost going places he’s been to thousands of times. He’s forgetting peoples names, things he did that day, words. It fricking sucks.
Something tells me this will be the last Christmas before we have to take a major step. It’s not going to be pretty.
