Minneapolis Police Officer Who Shot Australian Woman Charged With Murder

This one should be very interesting. Will the SJW crowd bitch about a minority cop being charged or will they celebrate the arrest?

The Minneapolis police officer who fatally shot an unarmed Australian woman last summer, an incident that led to protests and the ouster of the city’s police chief, was booked into jail Tuesday on charges of third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
The shooting of the woman, Justine Damond, by Officer Mohamed Noor on July 15 renewed questions about police conduct and training in a region that has seen a series of police shootings in recent years.
Mike Freeman, the Hennepin County attorney, was scheduled to discuss the case at a midafternoon news conference. His spokesman declined to comment late Tuesday morning. A lawyer for Officer Noor and the leader of the Minneapolis police union did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment.
Officer Noor was being held at the Hennepin County Jail on $500,000 bail, according to sheriff’s records. Those records show he was booked late Tuesday morning and that he was arrested by sheriff’s deputies. A booking photo was not immediately available.

This will be celebrated. Especially by those who see it as a double win. They can celebrate that an officer got charged with murder AND they can claim he only got arrested because he is brown and she was white. Double whammy cops are bad AND racism!

IIRC this is the one where the passenger of the police car opened fire across the driver and hit the person talking to the driver on the drivers side?

At the time it felt like an accidental discharge to me. He shots from the passenger seat through the driver side door. I can’t believe that was on purpose.

I don't know anything about this story, but she certainly doesn't look like someone who would ever come close to being shot.
