This. If trickle-down worked like the right claims then everyone should be getting a raise within the next month when Trump lowers the corporate tax rate but my guess is that won't happen

after graduating college is 2013

1. Finding a job was very difficult. I had a hard time. I also didn't pursue several opportunities like I should have.

2. I had a pretty good part time job ~20 an hour for 20-30 hours a week. I also made a point to learn what my higher ups were doing. Will I ever need to know this information. Probably not. But it will build up experience with the way things are

3. I networked like crazy. I'd go to friends and friends of family members and let them know I wanted to work with them. I was given a good piece of advice from the woman who ended up hiring me. If Someone seems interested, don't let them forget you.

4. I interviewed for a position I didn't have the experience for and beat out people who were more experienced. Was a part of it my having a company connection? Maybe, but I impressed directors and managing directors with what I had researched or learned.

5. The woman who hired me also told me that hiring bullets were bullshite and that there were very few applicants.

6. After a little under a year, I think I'll have made more than my mother ever has in her job that required a masters degree and she almost had a phd. I think my dad didn't make as much until maybe 30.

7. My parents didn't buy a house until they were mid 40s.

8. I'd imagine my net worth is in the negative. I have no property worth anything and I'm paying a huge amount of my paycheck every month for student debt and living in unideal conditions

I laughed at OP's assertion. My 15 year old daughter earned close to $40k last year from profits from her Amazon store, affiliated marketing on her website and Pinterest. She's in the middle of starting her own line of bath essentials, and we're going through the legals and insurance requirements, artwork, labeling and packaging requirements.

The issue isn't that opportunity isn't there for millennials. It's that they want it handed to them instead of working towards goals or following through on ideas.

I wouldn't go that far. But it isn;t the fix all some want it to be.

Millennials would have a point here if they hadn't overwhelmingly voted for Obama.

On top of that general costs of goods and living has increased as well.

Also, companies invested in their employees. Now a company demands you have years of experience for entry level jobs.

This is accurate.

Oh boo fricking hoo. Alcohol was made illegal and how did that work out? You wanna talk shite about values and priorities.. dude is doing what he can to have a roof over his head. He built shelves and organized a space to make it work..

And you're worried about a business owner who makes the same amount of cash either way

Gotta have those small government laws protecting high profile interests

What does a 15 year old running a business out of her parents house and with their assistance have to do with millennials in the workforce?

If it was a 26 old year college grad living in his parents house trying to run a business flipping items on eBay he would be mocked on here.

Let's not compare a kid with mommy and daddy helping them with their business to adult millenials without that support system. Dumb.

As opposed to the left raising taxes on an already dismal economy?

so squatting illegally in a commercial property of which an agreement/contract was signed stating there's no sleeping on the property, is comparable to prohibition?

Get the Government out of education loans.

Get the Government out of healthcare.

Get all the "Republicans" out of office that aren't voting like fiscal conservatives.

Not all of us are Democrats. The Republicans aren't anything to slap on the back either.

It is not an idea that has any theoretical or practical validity. It goes against accepted ideas. It is a lie.
