During Helene there were a lot of videos showing the radars going off and the storm mysteriously intensifying... Who knows it all could be made up...

I do agree that weatherman and those involved should be held liable in some way; pay, prison time, time on screen/social media, etc…for when they are wrong.
I believe the same for people that cause traffic accidents; whether it’s a true accident or direct incompetence.
These guys hover around the Mendoza line when calling anything remotely impactful and it effects other people’s time and finances in many cases. I would rather have zero clue than be fear mongered by severe weather warnings.
